Tottenham Hotspur V IF Elfsborg

Three players scoring their first senior goals
A clean sheet
And no 2-legged play off round

Finally, a night to enjoy, although somebody up there thought you cant have a fully enjoyable night, so we have to have an injury to put a dampener on it, wouldnt be spurs otherwise, would it
Imagine if we'd get a new signing tomorrow too!

This is why I've always said he should be eased into the team, too many people who have never seen him play and have no idea what the gap is from U18s to 1st team expect far too much from him, he's a real talent just needs time.

Don't expect too much from him. But playing is the best learning experience.

Let's get it right though. We beat a team that haven't played league football for nearly 3 months.

Tamworth town may have beaten them.

But it was good it showed our players care about Ange.

Just wish he had bloodied these yoot Dems earlier.

I dreamed we won the Europa League. I went around ecstatic telling everyone the wait was over. No one seemed to care, but I was buzzing. A long winded dream, so it was pretty disappointing to wake up this morning.

Then I remembered our match and three kids scoring and had a huge smile on my face. I think you'd have to be a pretty stubborn cynic to not enjoy a night like yesterday. I'm still buzzing. Ajayi's goal was so good. Hopefully Scarlett can get a few more chances now, and so so please for Mikey! You could see how much it meant to him. Like a burden lifted off his shoulders. Not that anyone expected him to score, but you could see he had expected it from himself. Hopefully he can let go a bit and play even more relaxed now. So happy for the guy!

Top post.

Hopefully that buzz can help the team as well. Could see how much it meant for the others too, those on the pitch, the other academy lads, the injured players, Ange and the staff.

A bit of that buzz going into the coming games along with some players returning from injuries would be great.

The last two months have been mostly horrible, so just to get that evening of big positivity last night should do wonders for the team spirit. I'm sure they're working hard under the circumstances, and to finally be rewarded with a good result and a game where almost everything went as we hoped must be a relief.

Who is the academy attack coach? Can we promote him to the first team ?

Son had some fantastic stats as well, looking more mobile
