Brighton and Bournemouth have been no better than us over the past 10-15 years.
They've punched about their weight and done brilliantly, but what have they won? Nothing. They've been up and down - so have we.
Arsenal - hate to break it to you, bigger club. Look at the histories. But it's a fair comparison - and they've stuck by their model. They've also had some seriously dodgy Russians. Usmanov etc.
Liverpool is the example that springs to mind for me. FSG have done a great job there. They are "sports businessmen".
One thing all the above have in common - they'd have fired Ange by now. With the possible exception of Arsenal.
None of those have exceeded expectations. Liverpool and Arsenal should be challenging for titles.
We're about on par over Levy's reign - the Mourinho and Conte experiments went wrong.
The Ange one is a disaster.
