Tottenham Hotspur V Aston Villa

No point having Beyoncé singing at the stadium if we are not trying to break the status quo
Agreed.
But let's also recognise how difficult that is to do, and even harder to sustain.
Name one team that has in the past 50/60 years?
-Bankrolled Blackburn for a little bit in the 90s.
-Emirates Marketing Project with oil money and possibly cheating
-Chelsea with dirty spoils of ripping off a nation
-Us under Poch (top 4 for a few years and a CL final - I know that isn't winning anything, but it is the modern version of breaking the status quo).

That's why I asked @Bishop and the other poster if they'd accept an Abramovich or Saudi oil etc.
Levy isn't bad. He's playing against a stacked deck in a field of experienced winners.

Sorry I wasn't very clear.

We got a young keeper early and that's good. But the number of games we had of significance in January meant Ange would have benefited from the other two arriving first or second week of the month. That it took til deadline day to sign them was a problem.
That's naive. We all know how the Jan window works, and we all saw there was very little business done by anybody until the end of the European competitions group stages.
That's just not how the January window works.

Everyone on that pitch tonight was a first team squad member and a few on the bench too. It’s excuse making.
Well that's a different debate. But the point is he was obviously talking about the first team squad, so no Porro et al aren't going to be upset by his comment....

He's fudged up so many open goals he makes Rebrov look world class

Joe Hart comes across very well, some of the best punditary I've heard in a while. He likes Ange, knows the style he wants to play, and comes across as intelligent and thoughtful. Ange should have someone like him as part of his coaching staff and bring him to each club he's at instead of starting fresh with a whole new coaching team.

I’m not sure Joe will be keen on coaching in the Australian second division.

It’s subtle use of language to create a narrative. He’s not saying it but to the casual ear it’s “I’m missing pretty much my full team.”

Maybe I’m reading too much into the interview but there seemed to be a bit of a subtle dig at the club there and his talking up of the players is maybe a man who is about to fall on his sword (or be pushed by Levy).

Or maybe I’m reading too much into it.

Arsenal says hello.

The space between our midfielders today in that first half was so big
There was a moment when Villa's midfield had possession, someone stumbled on the ball, they managed to recover, regain and pass it, all without a single Spurs midfielder in sight. It was amazing really. And that was in our half.

Beyoncé, the Stones (as much as I love that band) can all do one. I want my club back

But but we have 1 or 2 games of NFL games a year it only cost us an extra 450 million quid to provide the facilities.

And we get to keep the profits of selling fizzing sugar drinks and burgers.

No ticket money but feel the concessions!

How many N'____ does that buy? Think about it.

It's a no brainer we have the highest paid chairman in world football.
