I'd say he's not done enough to be considered. Poch has happily given chances to those young players who impress him (Onomah, Winks, Pritchard, CCV), so if Coulthirst hasn't got into first team training, I'd guess that he hasn't.

W00t! That is great news. Let's hope he continues his upwards trajectory and we have the next big star, he looks VERY talented.

Hopefully by the time he s debut the likes of Charlie Adam and Fabrice Muamba aren't around to break his ankles

Great news if true. He is a real talent, hopefully he'll working hard to improve too. Would love to see him on the bench if we get any 'easy' cup games.
Love the direction our club is taking with a clear path for talented youngsters in to the first team. As our philosophy seems to be about teamwork and hard work, it shows what the younger players need to commit to in order to get a chance.

Nathan Oduwa is on TV right now....BT Sport 1

He seems to have some skills, but also slopes around the pitch too much for my liking. Doesn't look to have the work ethic of a Poch player......

He did just set up a goal though! Assist of the assist

He was on the bench today, but has played most of their games this season, and they are top of the league....

From The Sun:

ARSENAL have seen off Tottenham in the race to sign Nigerian strike prodigy Victor Osimhen.

But Emirates boss Arsene Wenger still has to fight off German outfit Wolfsburg.

The 16-year-old scored ten goals to inspire his country to the Under-17 World Cup in Chile last month.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and other leading European club chiefs also hoped to capture Osimhen.

But the teen’s advisor Gaffar Liameed said: “We had many offers for Victor, but narrowed it to Wolfsburg and Arsenal.”

Osimhen has visited the German side but is more tempted by Arsenal.

Was never really in doubt but nice to get it confirmed. Potentially this will prove to be one of the biggest signings in the club's recent history.

Do we not have kits in his size?

Up against a physical Mexican team who, like us, had won their first two games, we stood firm to ensure the points were shared and thus we topped the group on goal difference.

That means we’ll meet Maccabi Haifa in the tournament Final this evening (Sunday, December 20), where we’ll look to lift the trophy for the second consecutive year.

Under-18s Coach Kieran McKenna was pleased with the spirit on show from the boys in a very tough contest on Saturday.

“It was a very challenging night for the players against an older, very physical team,” he said.

“Toluca tried to be intimidating in the way that they played so for the young players in our squad to come up against that and to be able to get the result that we required to get to the Final was very pleasing.

“It was a solid team effort in terms of limiting their chances – it was a very stop-start game with a lot of fouls and set pieces but we competed very well, were brave in our challenges and also brave in terms of trying to get on the ball and make things happen.

“At the back, Japhet Tanganga stood out in an excellent back four unit with the bravery and quality of some of his defending and he was very well supported by Jaden Brown beside him and also Zenon Stylianides and Charlie Owens in front of them. We were very tough in the middle and attacking-wise the boys were brave in their passing and tried to get on the ball as much as they could.”

The game, once again featuring 40-minute halves, yielded few clear-cut chances at either end.

Toluca sent a handful of in-swinging free-kicks into our box in the first half with the wind behind them, but goalkeeper Brandon Austin came out to claim them authoritatively.

Marcus Edwards (pictured, above) had a penalty appeal waved away by the referee in the second period after being brought down in the box, while the same player set up Ryan Loft with a clever reverse pass – only for the front man to shoot wide of the near post.

Today’s Final kicks-off at 5.30pm local time.

Spurs: Austin, J Pritchard, Muscatt, Owens, Tanganga, Brown, Bennetts (Goddard 57), Stylianides, Loft, Edwards, Shashoua (Oteh 76).

I think this is in half an hour

Tottenham transfer news: Spurs urged to wrap up Shilow Tracey deal

Tottenham are considering a January move for Ebbsfleet striker Shilow Tracey, whose club are five levels below the Premier League.

Ebbsfleet play in the Vanarama National League South but Tracey, 17, has attracted interest with his performances for the club’s junior sides and was taken on trial by Spurs earlier in October.

Tracey also travelled with a Tottenham Under-18 squad to the IMG Cup in Florida this month, scoring in matches against local teams Baltimore Celtic and Jacksonville Armada. He also started last night’s final, which Spurs lost on penalties to Maccabi Haifa.

Tracey is considered one of the brightest young prospects outside the professional game and Spurs are only one of a number of clubs who have made checks on him, even though he has yet to play a game in Ebbsfleet’s league competition. Ebbsfleet lead the table by seven points and are on target for promotion.

“A number of Premier League clubs have come in for Shilow but we don’t want him to become a commodity, touted around,” said Ebbsfleet vice-chairman Peter Varney told Standard Sport.

“If Tottenham decided to take him it would be a good fit, as he is a London boy. They wanted to take him on tour to have a closer look at him,” added Varney, who was chief executive at Charlton from 1997-2008.

Stoke and West Ham are thought to be interested in Tracey, along with Championship clubs Charlton, Reading, Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday. There is some debate about his best position, with some scouts regarding him as a centre-forward, others as an attacking midfielder.

If Spurs were to sign Tracey, he would not be considered for the first team in the short term, but would be required to develop with the academy and age-group teams. Yet head coach Mauricio Pochettino has given opportunities to academy products Harry Winks and Josh Onomah this season and is always willing to promote youth.

Meanwhile, Clinton N’Jie will be out of action for at least two months after undergoing surgery to repair medial knee ligaments. N’Jie sustained the injury in the Europa League victory over Monaco earlier this month.

N’Jie’s injury leaves Spurs even more vulnerable in attack should Harry Kane suffer injury or be suspended. Kane has scored 11 times this season and is the club’s only orthodox centre-forward.

He did well, didn't play up front though, mainly wide right. Only thing I'd be wary about is how much he's getting by on his physical advantage as he's bigger and more powerful than most at that age, especially compared to most of our side who are tiny tots by comparison.
