Or maybe just get a good quality player who already plays WB? [emoji848][emoji854]
We’ve made a hash of that it seems. I was thinking outside the box!

At the end of Jan though. Don’t want him missing out on his favourite time of yearSack our whole recruitment team . Starting with Hitchens.
If we are (as reported) looking to convert Traore to a RWB it got me thinking who else we could sign and convert.
How about Ward-Prowse? Looks to have all the attributes to me. The main one being he would put in pin point crosses all game long. His defensive work is already sound and has all the Prem experience we need. Would kill 2 birds with 1 stone with a problem position covered and we’d finally have a set piece taker.
I would take JWP to play in our midfield next to Skipp.
Far better player than ndombele, winks, lo celso and hojbjerg who is looking more and more bang average with every passing game.
As it is we should be looking at even higher quality than JWP but should the outside investment never materialise and we are stuck with lewis, then JWP should be someone we should prioritise.
No real pace, no real ability attacking in one on one situations and I'm unsure of his ability to complete lots of sprints. If we are (as reported) looking to convert Traore to a RWB it got me thinking who else we could sign and convert.

Pleaty recommended him to Spurs a couple of years ago (a while before we played Boro in the Cup)Surprised it took them this long. Thought everyone would be linked straight after the arsenal game. Whether there's any truth in it though i dunno.

He still has Levy's ear. One he has recommended recently is Scott Twine at MK Dons, who I'm told Spurs have since been watching. He is a very creative, goalscoring, attacking midfield player who it seems was something of a late bloomer.Thought pleat was retired and living in spain now.

*Edit. Here is a video of Twine's best moments.... You can see from this that he has great balance, touch and vision, the ability to use both feet and excellent ball striking:

That rule is pretty much never applied. When teams make a case for the rule to be waived it generally always is.No good for this season tthough. He's played for 2 clubs already. So can't play for us if we bought him.
Edit djed.
Cheers for posting. Looks a talent - and not just the goals. Received the ball on the turn lovely and 2 footed also.
Edit: Reminds me a bit of Maddison.

When I see this name, my brain reads Dried Spice

Maybe we could nickname him Schwartz?
