The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Shelvey is having a real up and down. Scores an opener, in the thick of both Liverpool goals, gets booked, now an assist.
Anything else?

Win a penalty to put Swansea 3-2 up and then concede one in stoppage time and get a 2nd yellow. Game ends 3-3.

Liverpool midfielder is not a top 4 quality.

Gerrard, Coutinho, Lucas and Moses all have the ability to be considered 'top 4' midfielders. But yes, the others are not up to the required level. The lack of depth there will cost the club a place in the top 4.

I will be interested to see how long Coutinho is out. It seemed to me he didn't fancy it and Bony left tamely, too.

I will beg their forgiveness if they are long term injuries. Moses faded badly. Liverpool not top 4 on that showing.

If Coutinho's injury keeps him out of the next few games, that would be bad news for Liverpool. Without Suarez or Coutinho, they would lack spark against sides who are likely to make it difficult for Liverpool to play. Could drop important points.
