The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Well they signed Jonjo Shelvey and tasked him with the holding role, so you can't say they didn't deserve this. Michael Laudrup really should know better.

On the plus side, inspired decision at 7.30pm to put Moses and Sturridge in my TFF team. Although I woud have rather they didnt get any points tonight if you catch my drift

As soon as Swansea stopped standing there and admiring Liverpool they looked good. Liverpool dangerous with Moses and Sturridge. Coutinho quiet.

I wouldn't know the result of this but 3-3 looks possible.

Always a bit bitter/sweet that. That's why I have a no-Goons policy, couldn't take any pleasure in gaining points from them!

Tbh I dont normally but had to put Ozil in my team. The works TFF league can be quite lucrative if you finish in the Top 3.

I tend not to put Spurs in though, when I've done it in the past they seem to start playing pants or worse, get injured. Had Bale in the team last Jan after he got the hat-trick at Villa, he went quiet for a few games, took him out just before the Norwich away game, and we all know what happened from that game onwards, never considered putting him back in.
Didnt want to jinx his run.

Right now I'd take that

Liverpool look soft in midfield. I want to be top of the league sooner rather than later but Pool have a reasonable EPL schedule in the next few weeks and if they keep above us tonight there could be a wait. But long term I can't see Liverpool keeping the results going.

Hate to see a player injured but glad Coutinho going off, that should weaken pool a bit. Moses looks on fire. Chelsea can't have seen pool as a genuine title threat or surely they would not have loaned him?!

Of course not, they won't last the distance

Thats exactly what went through my mind, could end up being a bit of a mistake by Jose, underestimating Liverpool...or is he hoping he helps to take points off their rivals knowing he cant play v Chelsea.
Same idea with Lukaku to Everton, would have loved him at Spurs, but was never going to happen

Shelvey is having a real up and down. Scores an opener, in the thick of both Liverpool goals, gets booked, now an assist.
Anything else?
