The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Chelsea have been impressive today. Arsenal will claim this isn't their first choice but....

-------------Ramsey------Wheelchair-------------
Ozil-------------Cazorla----------------Rosicky
------------------Giroud------------------------

That's pretty much first choice now

With Giroud on, Arsenal looks better already. Bendtner is pure garbage.

He has more luck than a lottery winner! Ok, it's not great for him that he plays for Arsenal but he gets paid thousands a week, has been playing for some of the biggest teams in Europe and yet has never really proved to be all that good. I'm sure some footballers just get lucky.

Given that Arteta and Flamini were both unavailable, then yes that pretty much was their first team.

Wenger's army of League Cup kids: From World Cup winner and Premier League champions... to non-league football and early retirement. So, where are they now?

The Arsenal boss is renowned for blooding his youngsters in the competition. Apart from his first season in charge he has always used the League Cup to give the 'kids' a chance of first team action.

Sportsmail takes a look at a selection of players who have made an appearance in the past - and what they're up to now...

Arsenal started paying him massive wages at an early age, thereby inflating his ego and making it impossible for clubs at his true level to afford him.
