The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

The only time I can watch Chelsea and want them to win. They do have some very good players. Mata of course and Willian looks a classy player too

This. Chelsea are the lesser of two evils despite their horrible fans.

Wenger thought it was a tight game and Chelsea didn't deserve to win  Chelsea controlled the game. Schwarzer barely had to make a save in the game.

oh great, **** have less games to worry about. Makes finishing in the top 4 easier once again

We've beaten Swansea, Norwich, Hull, Cardiff, Villa and Palace. Yup, we didn't thrash them but a win against these lower teams is a win.

Wow, that's amazing. I've genuinely never heard of a few of those guys.

It just shows you how precarious the career of young footballers can be. A lot of them are ended by failure to develop on early promise, injuries, mental/mentality issues, booze, weight etc. You also get this sense if you ever watch a replay of a game from say 7 or 8 years ago and you hear a names and think: "Oh yeah, him...whatever happened to him?"

The lower leagues are littered with former youth internationals

Some papers at the weekend were linking us with a bid in Jan transfer window. Like yourself I think he would be a great signing, but there is 0% chance Chelsea will sell to us

Would be a massive signing.

But as long as football's governing bodies doesn't do anything to prevent financial doping and stockpiling of talent, Chelski are free to stack up on as many world class footballers as they want, simultaneously denying their competitors access to the same players.

Instead us, ****, City, United and Liverpool has to face top class, Chelski loanees every weekend - while Chelski can sit back, knowing that their loanees, often among the very best players at the clubs they play for, are ineligible to face them.

It isn't a loan system anymore, it's a complete farce.

(sorry for derailing)
