Chelsea are the real Cup specialists now. They are the most succesfull team in the domestic Cups for the last 15 years with 6 FA Cups and 3 League Cups.

And Juande Ramos remains the only manager to beat Chelsea in a FA/League Cup final since Abromovich took over. Our 2008 CC win looks more and more special now.

Abromovich's money have bought Chelsea 2 league titles, 4 FA Cup, 2 League Cup and 2 CL Finals. If they can buy trophies, why shouldn't we ? I will have no problem if any mega rich businessman take over Spurs now and win us many trophies like them.

Ditto. I'd love if we had the spending power of them plus the Manchester clubs and could afford to splash out ?ú30million+ on a World class striker plus pay the sort of mega-wages that they do.

So Ronaldo breaks the 40 league goal barrier last season (and this) so Messi just goes and sticks another 10 goals on top of that for good measure with a game to go still. This record will stand forever, I can't see anyone, not even Messi breaking it .

Lets just hope they lose one more cup final this season.

I grew up where you knew every record going, and our 7 cup wins along with Villa was a record. Now these stats seem just pointless and forgettable.

Did anyone here watch the full game? I only watched the last 20 minutes of the first half and then the highlights, but I thought Norwich had a pretty clear penalty shout denied and some Arsenal player (Rosicky perhaps) kicked out a bit and tripped a Norwich player when the ball was long gone, the ref actually blew his whistle and stopped a Norwich counter attack without giving a card. Thought the ref looked quite poor, but not in any way biased - then again I was biased so who knows :)

DiCanio's goal was beautiful, but I thought bales last season v stoke was the best spurs premier league goal

I fancy Saudi Sportswashing Machine to beat City. No pressure on them at all for their remaining games. Their season is already deemed a success.

I hope Harry and everyone at the club is talking down the Villa match. As soon as we make something a massive event or cup final of a match it's a recipe for disaster.

I disagree with this, there is massive pressure on them. This is the current Saudi Sportswashing Machine teams one shot at a Champions League place. I think that they are unlikely to be able to repeat this success next season and if they do not make the Champions League then there is a fair chance that several of their players will be sold.

What's even more bizarre about this finish is if Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Tottenham both fail to win today, its not mathematically impossible for Chelsea to finish 3rd
Ny Thursday morning we could have a scenario of
Arsenal 67 +24
Spurs 66 +23
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 66 +9
Chelsea 64 +22

Really really need a win today to take at least one team out of the race for 3rd, two if City beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine

Weds 5th May 2010 City of Manchester Stadium.

We dont allows bottle it. We have a great chance today, the performance at Bolton has given players and fans a massive boost, another tick off the 'bogey list'. (Only OT and The Bridge to go)

By no means am I 100% confident of win, you just cant as a Spurs fan, but I'm going there with a hell of a lot more confiedence than I was 10 days ago
