Simple idea: which side would you rather see in the PL next season? No preference, no big thing.

Birmingham.

Not because they're birmingham, but because i like Chris Houghton. If he gets some Premier League experience under his belt he could be worth a decent shout in the future.

Birmingham due to the Hughton factor - he's done an amazing job.

Blackpool would be nice for the attacking football again.

Cardiff woul be nice to see them finally do it after being up there so often.

West Ham it would be hilarious to see them stay down because of the ensuing financial meltdown that would surely have to occur. And to show how stupid it was to give the Olympic Stadium to a Championship team that won't come close to filling it.

Anyone but West Ham for me, agree with Brain of Levy would be fantastic seeing a Championship club in the Olympic Stadium they fought so hard to get!

This Sunday is the last round of matches in the Dutch Eredivisie. Heerenveen (currently 4th) play Feyenoord (2nd). Bizarre circumstances mean that Heerenveen need to WIN or LOSE to guarantee entry to next yearÔÇÖs Europa League (which I understand they would consider a significant achievement), but if they DRAW they could fail to qualify. Speculation is that they will "allow Feyenoord to win".

The rather complicated reason is down to the permutations of the Dutch cup-winners, PSV, who are currently 3rd and the cup runners-up Heracles (10th) and whether they qualify for Champions League / Europa League and how that affects places available from the league.
