The Goon Thread

The song those arsenal fans are singing in that video was written by a spurs fan which makes me laugh as much as when george bush had Secret smile" as his campaign song yet being anti drugs, when that song was about drug use.

I would be very sad if we ever started singing songs written by arsenal fans, im not keen on chas and dave, think their brick but at least their our brick.

Ive booked Chas & His Band for my birthday party next November already !!!

beat Chelsea. Not lose to pool. Beat spurs. Do our best in all the rest (which includes not losing in the PL until the end. Yes, I think that's realistic - Pool and city games toughest tests).'

Spurs at a low point? Did they not notice our 5-0 thumping of Saudi Sportswashing Machine or something?

Well if you have jelly and ice cream i will come along and promise not to boo them haha. Out of interest how much do washed up pop acts cost? i actually thought i had heard they had split up, there not crap or anything just not my cup of tea, but at least their yids.

As in their late winner meant that by time we play them, we will only be 10pts ahead instead of 13? Lose, and still dont make a dent.

Chichester - Chas n Dave split up a few years back so one of them could focus on painting his wagon/cart things or somesuch... but they got back together

Chas n Dave are awesome - I've got their Best Of - always raises a smile :)



The Goons at work have been saying "wait for Wheelchair to come back, he's our saviour" and it appears they might be right, after he scored at the weekend.


Jurgen that comment about a shoe bomber is crap and racist I think - unless it is hilarious and I missed the hilarity

Dave retired to care for his sick wife with Cancer, she died last year and he went back on the road but has retired again save for a xmas concert at the O2 and bestival
 
My grandad is a MASSIVE Chas & Dave fan

He supports United (before they were good), so didn't listen to them because they're Spurs. He just loves their music!

He'd always have them on the car when we went somewhere.....so I'm a big fan

We did sort of park the bus against liverpool.. but i think that was more due to the injury doubts not being available to play, that said we still created the best chance of the game and almost nicked all three points...


But why would we park the bus against Arsenal? We might park the bus against the big teams, but arsenal aren't one of them.

Mourinho slams Spurs

MOURINHO'S VIEW

Chelsea 0-0 Spurs
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho criticised Tottenham for their approach after the two clubs drew 0-0.
He said: "As we say in Portugal, they brought the bus and they left the bus in front of the goal.

"I would have been frustrated if I had been a supporter who paid ?ú50 to watch this game because Spurs came to defend.

"I'm really frustrated because there was only one team looking to win, they only came not to concede - it's not fair for the football we played."

Mourinho added: "They fell as if they were dead and for five minutes each time, five more minutes when they change a player and they did this all the time.

"We played some fantastic football and we created lots of chances.


"I have no complaints with my players' performance.

"This is a difficult league with everyone losing games. Maybe even Tottenham will lose a game defending with 11 players."
