I agree. I wouldnt want someone as crap as Saha but we need to be competitive and the one thing I think that will stop us is our forward line. It still requires two signings.

its all about priorities if we have sufficient funds - yeah bring in Remy and two number 9's and Loris. If we dont then fudge Remy and fudge Lloris and bring in two number fudging 9's arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

We've shown interest in Lascelles, but as far as I know he's still with Forest and they've got financial backing as well now.
You're probably thinking of Grant Hall, who's been playing with our Development Team, waiting for a tribunal to determine compensation to Brighton

I'm not sure whether thats sarcastic or not! If he was the 9th best player in the world then obviously we'd want him but based on last 12-24 months form, is he in the top 30 best players globally? top 50?

The toughie is finding someone who is quality but is happy to play second fiddle to Adebayor

If we were serious about being a CL team, if we are going to play with just one central striker then it should be a player capable of vying for a starting line up with Adebayor as opposed to someone who is happy to play second fiddle

Well it doesnt have to be the case. You just tell them look you will get your fair share of games but ultimately either of you wanna be first choice? then prove it. Rise to the challenge.

Circa should never be used with money. To use with anything other than dates is inaccurate. To be a pedant, would be to be fussy over the exact manner with which it's used around dates.

True. In an ideal world that would I'd like to think it would work. I just think if Ade is not in the team for a few games he may start the sulks.

I would hope he sulks but would also hope he would then work harder. There were times last season, because there was no competition, that he either tired or he just couldnt be bothered. Where was the motivation? if you know youre first choice and the only choice then why bother?

Competition breeds success.
