Corluka + Krancjar + Pienaar (£15m) = Verts + Sig (£15m)

Modric + Defoe + Jenas + Bentley + Gio + Bassong + Gomes (c.£61m) = Ade + Leandro + Moutinho + Lloris (c.£65m)

That would balance the books and leave our squad in pretty good shape.

Modric is safe - think about it. if it is last minute and we do need a replacement then Real will just loan us Sahin for a season whilst we negotiate for Moutinho. Thats how I see it. So there isnt too much of a risk regarding the Modric situation.

We need to concentrate on strikers. If Levy is in a tricky position with his wife being ill - is there no deputy CEO who can undertake the negotiations and levy can work from 'home'. I can see Levys wife being ill as an excuse.

I think we are all a bit nervous regarding this but I do agree with you regarding Ade. We are definitely signing him I dont see that as an issue although it is just annoying that not only is it dragging on but he wont get a full pre season.

Do you simply choose to ignore everything the manager of our club says because it doesn't fit in with what you want to happen? WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR A GOALKEEPER according to our very own manager who's stated this twice now. I get you thought 'sweeper keeper' was going to work wonderfully next season but it's not happening according to AVB so leave it now.


Oh and i have a feeling you're going to be disappointed come September 1st when Defoe's still here.
 
I for one don't see the point in Lloris. Friedel was outstanding last year and we need to use all of our budget to bring in strikers imo. Worry about GK next season
