Rumours going round at the moment that the Moutinho deal is done and will be finalised when Modric's exit is finalised.

Sevilla with Kanoute and fabiano couple of years back

united with rooney and hernandes/......though rooney does an excellent impersonation of a link up man

although I get your point, it does seem the best teams in the world are playing only 1 out and out striker these days.

heck some aren't even playing with 1. (Spain obvs)

BM, RM, Barca, Milan, etc. etc. etc. = all examples playing with 1 striker
