maybe we really dont have the money

we sold Corluka and Kranjcar, and signed Vertonghen and Sigurdsson, 2 in 2 out, and since then everything has gone quiet and we are waiting for the Modric deal to be sorted before we make our next move

Graham Hunter an English journalist and a correspondent for La Liga has confirmed Arsenal are way ahead of any other club in negotiating a deal for Santi Cazorla.

Hunter when asked on Cazorla: “This is the big story, Malaga are not paying their players or tax to the Spanish F.A.

"Clubs have been aware of this for a long time. Redknapp had a big interest and Tottenham know a lot about the player”

When asked on a destination for star player Cazorla Hunter continued: “However Arsenal are far better placed, they are further down the road, Arsenal are ahead of every club in Europe to sign Cazorla. He’d fit in perfectly at Barcelona but if Arsenal continue pushing they will sign him”

Arsenal have been quietly linked with Santi Cazorla, 27 who can play in an attacking midfield role or on either wing. Cazorla was the standout player in the Malaga side last season.

Cazorla is a fantastic player. I'd be more than a little disappointed if he went to them.

My brother thinks there is a chance they are at risk of loosing their CL place too, though I'm not sure where he heard this.

I was under the impression Malaga were loaded?

Me too, but I've been reading that the Qatari owners have not been putting in the money for whatever reason. Players wages, tax, and installaments on transfer fees have not been paid.

Graham Hunter said they risk losing their place in La Liga.

The Malaga owner is loaded but not mega like Emirates Marketing Project or PSG. Also he has a reputation for being a bit nuts and apparently he has gotten bored of his toy....

De Laurentiis has warned the Blues they will have to shell-out the huge figure to convince Napoli to part company with their star striker.

'Cavani is not for sale, but we could let him go for €100m (£78m),' he told Sky Sport Italia. 'This is not his actual value, but his value to me and he won't leave for less.'

Reminds me of Levy on Modric, so good on them

If Milan want Yanga-Mbiwa, they must give us all the money they got for Thiago Silva - Montpellier president

Just seen a story claiming Jay Spearing will join Forest for £1.1mil. Would be a good deal, but Spearing is reportedly earning 50k p/wk
