Hehehehe... For him to have an all round better game than Gomez in your opinion he wouldn't have to be better than the mascot!

well since Gomez is the mascot then he would have to be better

i cant think of someone. the reason i cant think is cause if i say someones name then people are going to say that i think he is as good as the player i'm likening his playing style to

he seems to be the complete forward

Going by whoscored.com:

Strengths: Finishing, Aerial Duels
Weaknesses: Passing, Holding On To The Ball, Defensive Contribution

I see from comments on a news article that some are concerned about his lack of pace and strength.

People judge players differently. He must have some pace if he's to be considered a counter attack threat as he is on whoscored.

Moyes: Pienaar edging closer to permanent Everton return

David Moyes has revealed he is hopeful of completing a permanent deal to re-sign Steven Pienaar for Everton soon.

The South African left Goodison Park to join Tottenham in January 2011 but failed to settle and returned to Merseyside on loan for the second half of last season.

And after impressing Moyes on his return he is set to complete a move back to Everton for a fee in the region of £5m.

Moyes said: "I think we are much closer to Pienaar and hopefully in time I will have something, but I don't quite have it yet."

Didn't we buy him for £3m?
Put him on 60k a week, never play him and now Everton will surely have to match his wages????

Never thought id see the day when it was scousers who got robbed!!

Modric has definitely gone to America anyway

Tut tut...profeesionals of their calibre should know that the aisle seats in BA Club (as well as specific ones at the back of the cabin) allow unfettered access to aisle and no-one stepping across you...those middle seats? Constant step-overs!

Just met him in New York (on the train to the New York Red Bulls game).

I asked him what was happening. Says it is close but it's not done yet.

Got the photo and will try to post it later as prof.

Given that's he is in the US probably says a lot.

And the player in question is Adebayor

akqayid @akqayid

I've kept very quiet about Ade bar it's as good as done There has been some problems with City paying % of wages and Ade had dropped demands

Don't be surprised if he does join up with the team before the Liverpool or Red bulls game, but I was hoping long before ie last week

have.

there have been some problems. 'have' for plural, 'has' for singular.

*pet hate*

I have many pet hates - that is the least of my issues.

What im confused about would you say Tottenham Hotspur HAVE or Tottenham Hotspurs HAS? Its quite common to say HAVE but as Tottenham Hotspurs is singular the correct term is HAS

Am I correct?

I saw the photo on the fighting**** of Ade, so you'd have to think that he's is pretty much a Spurs player now. Excellent acquisition.
Now for Lewandowski (who I've barely seen play but still want at spurs).
