Real Betis have pulled out of the race to sign Tottenham winger Giovani Dos Santos

I thought Guti was one of the most underrated players in the last ten years. Didn't think he got enough credit because of the players around him

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has suggested that his club’s transfer activity for the summer has already come to an end.

“Our transfer market has closed,” the official stated on Wednesday when asked about the club’s immediate plans.

“We have already made our signing. The decision to keep Thiago Silva was our big move and it closed our market.”

There were suggestions that the Diavolo were still looking for a defensive central midfielder, but that may no longer be the case.

“There will be no changes in midfield,” continued Galliani. “We have nine players in there and we are complete.

“We are not missing a Van Bommel type player as we have Riccardo Montolivo [after his arrival from Fiorentina]. We also have Massimo Ambrosini who can play in that role.”

Galliani did, however, concede that the club could consider selling left-back Djamel Mesbah to newly promoted Torino.

“We don’t have an intention to sell anyone, but we’ll have to see about Mesbah,” he continued. “Will Angelo Ogbonna be a part of the Mesbah deal? No, not at all.

“If we do sell someone then it won’t be one of our high profile players.”

Galliani, who also insisted that no offers had been made to buy the club, added that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be staying and Kevin Prince Boateng will not be getting a new deal.

“Ibra still has two years to run on his contract and will stay. Boateng? They are private matters. Anyway, all of our players have very high wages so nobody will be get an increase in salary.”

...................

that rules them out of signing Lloris the Doris

id say that if we decide we want him then we have a clear run

Rossi is going nowhere until he fully recovers from the cruciate injury. March 2013 is when he is expected to be back if all things go well

Periera will cost too much for his age

Anyone going to make a youtube video of his career highlights? I guess it wouldn't get past the family filter.

Didn't we let the mighty Fulop go in p/e for him too.
