They're also going to have players like Meireless, Marin, Sturridge , Lukaku (i'f not loaned out), and Essien on the bench. We really messed up a massive chance to gain some ground on them last season.

Depends how the manager they get in is at squad rotation really..

You're in dream world mate. You might not rate Hulk but with Drogba leaving that's the perfect replacement. Not the same type of player but they're gonna need someone with physical presence in the team now Drogba isn't there.

Ramires can't play cm? eh he owns there? he also played well on the right but it's painfully obvious he more suited to the cm role. Our only hope is Torres is still brick and they keep playing Mikel.

So your saying Remires to take the role of a DM?? Dunno... Personally that set up with Mods filling the blank looks all out attack to me, leaving them wide open at the back.

Ramires dm? no i'm not saying that. I'm saying they're probably gonna risk not playing a natural DM vs the lesser teams being that Ramires and luka both have adequate/good defensive qualities and positioning.


Oh and yes please on Demba.

He's a beast in terms of physical presence but I don't think he'd be all that in the Prem. Plus I doubt he'd be brought in as a replacement for Drogba, they are both totally different in my view.

Sure, he can play CM but I think it's be ruining what he is. di Matteo had it right playing him right wing, he was fudging ripping it up. Immense goal against Barca, goal in the FA Cup final etc. I do think he has the attributes to be a stunning centre midfield, he has underrated defensive qualities, great engine and work rate, can attack and score goals etc but I think putting him centre midfield just to fit Hulk or someone in the team doesn't cut it.

Hulk and Drogba are totally different i agree but i'm pretty sure part of the reason they are pushing this deal now is they feel they need they need some physical presence in the team (Attacking wise) now they've lost Drogba.

Hazard and Mata provide the flair and creativity

Torres provides the goals (Well this is what they're hoping i assume)

Ramires provides the energy

Hulk provides physical presence and an attacking threat

I am not advocating getting rid, but there is stuff you really do not know which goes against the grain and if you did you would be speaking different, and for the sake of politics and confidentiality the mods and certain respected ITK's on here would not go public on what they know, so let us be careful by backing him blindly based upon recent finishes. What astonishes me is how a lot of us because of recent finishes are spouting up a blind alley. We all know they want rid of him! We all know they are frustrated with him! We all know he cacked up the hazard deal in January when we should have done a pre-contract agreement. We all know it was the board who forced Ade on him as he wanted Carlton Cole, push for the drog which was not realistic and much more. We all know he suggest we sign Rio and J Cole who would fill modders boots. We all know that he is a cack man-manager, and half the squad if not more do not rate or get on with him. We all know certain international players at the club cannot believe how clueless he is, and his old school f'ing and blinding and players is not working. Ghosh it is a shambles
