mate you're saying you didn't realise Carroll and downing are bit part players for liverpool since Rodger took over? you're saying you didn't know that he didn't rate them? (Carroll got like 4 minutes in their last game i think). He's already let it be known by his actions how little he thinks of them so maybe he's thinking this will push them to move on. My feeling is that they both probably rejected moves away which has got Rodgers riled up.

Carroll is a good player - a manager of Rodger's perceived ability should be able to utlisie with ease - he is a 35m club asset. He should at least try ffs - look at Torres at Chelsea - a good striker on a bad run of form for nearly 2 years. Didn't hear them slate him once.

As much as he is disappointed - does not justify these kind of actions. He could have told them in private he wants them to move - simples. Look at AVB and Hudd. What exactlty does he achieve by doing so publically? Bring their price down. What a tool.

Amazing that people are bothered about Levy's whereabouts! If we're desperately trying to ge a couple deals done, why would he waste time on planes etc when you can easily neogitate a deal from your office! Bizarre....

sometimes face to face contact gets deals done quicker. It shows intention and effort to come to an agreement.

Andy Carroll and One defender (maybe Carvalho) in on a season long loan. Balance of Modric money plus fees from VDV and Dawson (approx £40m) go towards the stadium costs

because they're probably not getting the message.

As i said he's probably told both those wasters numerous times it's best if they moved on. Liverpool have probably accepted deals and both those players have rejected. This then has pushed rodgers to slate them publicly in the hope that they lose it and finally fudge off. That in turn means rodgers can bring in a few players he wants on deadline day. This is good news anyway as it shows they're deseparate.
