The deal we have agreed is amazing, 11m€ up front + 4.5m€ bonus. Thats 9m£ + 3.5 m£ bonus.

I just cant believe how much Lyon pay their players. Im looking at Lloris salary. Its huge. Which is why Lyon want him to leave and why we`re struggling to agree terms.

Interesting debate between Arc and Nayim.

I personally think he will not be used in the Modric role but in a more forward postion. Half way if you like between a traditional CM and AM. He could find a lot of space in this position and be very effective. I think if he is paired with either Sandro or Parker as the holding CM, he could be brilliant for us in this central position.

certainly not worth breaking the bank for. we have adequate GK cover.

We need a STRIKER urgently. Goalscoring is our weakness not goal conceding.

Hes not their best paid player, Gourcuff, Cris, Lisandro, earn more.

I think that's the bracket for our top earners by now - considering he could be with us for a decade, could be a sound investment

Bale, Ade etc are all on around that or slightly higher. Depends on whether Levy and AVB see him as being as important to the team as those players then I guess.

£175,000 a week, but Emirates Marketing Project will be paying the lion's share of that for the next two years until his current contract expires.

Spurs will be paying him around £75,000 to £80,000 during this period.
