I don't think Deschamps will have told him not to join us. He might have pointed out some benefits of staying, like any friend or advisor would do, but i'm sure he'd have said you have to follow your gut instinct and heart.

In our favour is the fact that Deschamps probably feels Lloris would develop by moving to the English league where goalkeepers are tested physically and mentally more rigourously. Also, I think he'd have said we are a good club and we'll probably offer him a pay-rise and we also have the new training centre, which has got to be a pull.

Yes, but i hate Deschamps with a passion. He hates us, kept on mocking us when we were after Remy in January. Treating us like a small club.

He will tell him that he would get lost in England.

He would say: Stay at Lyon, in France, and you`ll have no worries over starting for France.

Both - totally different players IMO.

Id see Sessegnon playing Lennons position.

Not stating a preference, just that I really like the option

lets face it most French people have sexy voices. French women are filthy, fact and so GHod damn sexy. I was on holiday in Turkey and these french birds were on a boat trip, they were well fit. their voices were fit and one had big boobies. this has nothing to with Lloris other than the fact that they were French, but I did take a video recording of them jumping off the boat trying to look like I was interested in their jump when in fact I was just perving over them.

Mate tell me about it. I worked with this French girl last year and her voice made me melt on the spot. She wasn't overly sexual or anything, really sweet girl actually - her voice was so silky and pure. Nothing worse than spotting a really good looking girl, going over to chat to her and then she opens her trap and sounds like a moose being strangled.

Speaking of the video recording - top work haha. On holiday this year my mate was chief pervert, pretending to text on his phone while snapping up girls in bikinis. A means to an end, but the portfolio we had built up was toss bank material.

Understand the flippant comment however on a related note, a few players of similar profile like Carrick, Berbatov and Modric have used us as a stepping stone to move to a bigger club after 2-3 successful years. That cant be unattractive to someone like Remy

Don't worry, they're in the post. Besides, the Lloris fee is around £10m with a couple more mil in add ons, Swansea would demand similar for Vorm I'd imagine.

Can anyone tell me why we're signing Dembele? He is a great footballer but a classic late panic-buy. He isn't a CM, he can't play as deep as Modric. He would be a good back-up to Adebayor except he can't score, he would be good in VDV/Sig's position I suppose, but they're 2 of our big players who will command game time.

And how the fudge did those rats sign Sahin? He is miles too good for them, we should have got him. I hate those scouse bastards.

Plus the scousers got Sahin because they didn't demand a buy out clause. Which we would have, and Arsenal did.

More than one way to skin a cat. Where Carrick or Modric would have passed the ball incisively, or taken part in some patient build up to create an opening, a bit of pass and move - Dembele will skip all that and just run 30 yards with the ball through midfield and pass it to an attacker :lol:

Totally different method/style/technique but the end result is still the ball getting forward and the creation of space/opportunities.


EDIT : Also, the idea of Dembele, Bale, Sessegnon and Sigurdsson all running at a defence (with or without the ball) sounds bokers to me in the most brilliant way
