He's known of our interest for a couple of months now though, surely he must've said at some point he's interested in coming here. Obviously could still decide to stay, hope not.

I did say yesterday that French players phone the National Coach.

And that C*** of Deschamps has told him not to make the move. Id bet a lot of money on that.

As would I, bu what happens a the end of the season when the world knows we NEED a keeper. Prices go up and more than likely a player of Lloris' quality wont be available. I think Lloris would be massive for us.

A lot of french players tend to phone the National Coach before a move. Asking them what they think. I have no doubt that Deschamps would tell him to stay in France.

This is what i said yesterday.

Deschamps will tell him to turn us down, that he has everything he needs in France and that we`re a small club.

I don't think Deschamps will have told him not to join us. He might have pointed out some benefits of staying, like any friend or advisor would do, but i'm sure he'd have said you have to follow your gut instinct and heart.

In our favour is the fact that Deschamps probably feels Lloris would develop by moving to the English league where goalkeepers are tested physically and mentally more rigourously. Also, I think he'd have said we are a good club and we'll probably offer him a pay-rise and we also have the new training centre, which has got to be a pull.

But surely the likes of Kaboul, Gallas, can tell him otherwise?

going by Belgian press, one say he signed already last night, a 5 year deal, and another is saying he will sign tomorrow....
