I am ok either way in some respects, he went I was ok, he stays I am ok given he has legend points. But he can't be as involved next year, I think its a blocker to development (ode and Moore) and also we should be looking to improve quality across the line

It's really up to him

- If he wants to wind down here, have less game time but still be club legend, he has a home here. Think be interesting to a have a fresh Son available in cups as example.
- If he can find one last hurrah (a top European club), a small fee won't be a blocker and he'll leave as a modern club legend.
 
After 10 years at our club you’d hope that Son of all people would know not to be “too passive” in a NLD.

Why do our players not seem to get as fired up for this fixture as the Woolwich scum? Even when we were miles better than them back in Poch’s heyday the Goons never let us do the league double over them but this is now twice in 3 seasons they’ve done so over us and we’ve not taken 3 points against them since the 21/22 season.

I’ve read pepper claims he our best finishers still… of what? His avocado on toast. His very simple misses have cost Ange massively and none have come from him doing anything special to get the chance. That’s the scary bit

His miss today, added to the two opportunities he usually makes the keeper work show how shot he is. Like many, needs a rest and a reset.
 
I genuinely don't think he was that bad today. Yes he missed what should have been a sitter but all strikers do that. At least he was getting into the right positions to get those chances today. If we had defended properly, those chances could have been built on.

They literally stride out of defence with the ball when he plays because he doesn’t engage them meaning they can oaky higher up
And when we attack they create a nice easy line because…. He doesn’t engage the CBs
My best mate is an Everton fan and he asked me if son had been this scared of the big men all season

He needs to be dropped and sold
If we’re gonna play posseison football he has technical issues
If we’re playing counter attack he needs to find some pace again

He was pressing them from the front today. Running at them and he got into at least two good shooting positions, one where Tarkowski tackled him and the second where he shot into the side netting. He was also involved with our attacks that led to the goals. Other than score, which he might have done had we defended properly so our promising early attacks could have been built on, I'm not sure what else he is supposed to do. He certainly didn't look shot today. And he certainly wasn't the reason we lost.

He will need his allies as more and more people can see he just isn’t fit to play at this level anymore. At last not in a footballing side
When fans of other teams can see it and out own can’t then….

I am sorry mate but I don't agree with you at all. I don't care how many people disagree with me. His managers don't see what you or they are seeing. He definitely has games where he doesn't do enough, but shot? No way. He is what he has always been, a streaky player with a poor first touch. But on his game one of the best finishers we have.

I recall him being poor in Contes last season and people writing him off then only for him to become our top scorer last year. And that was Ange's best period at the club.

I wasn’t being snarky
He will need his allies because fans will forget the good and remember the bad. He will leave us as the captain of the side that finished the lowest in year. That’s not how he would want to be remembered but that’s what happens over time.
Fans will forget the screamers and remember the misses more and more because bad stuff sticks
If you mean my comment about fans of other side … those fans don’t have the baggage our fans have. They call it as they see it
