The difference being that there wasn't much choice for Poch in terms of putting someone else in.
Conte's got two ready made replacements.

When Poch spoke of a "painful rebuild", and Dele was one of the players he wanted to sell but Levy was not having that because he was young, English and talented.

I didn’t read it, but saw there’s an article today about how Richi is right and that the stats show Spurs score more goals and win more games when Richi starts. Of course it’s a smaller sample size, but he deserves to at least be given a run of games. Son has been awful, literally like playing with ten men - it’s not just about him not scoring but I’ve lost count of the number of times he has lost the ball through poor play. Richi can’t be any worse in the attacking third, and he works harder and presses better and more than deserves a decent run in the side….

Yesterday son tried a drag back… but he didn’t have the ball under control and they just took it off him
That’s a sigh of zero confidence when your telegraphing your next move but haven’t got the ball
 
Better game, not playing backing into defenders

At time he and Richi were the ones high up, Kane deeper, suits his game more.
