Pray Tel

Intriguing, what exactly are our plans for the forward line?

On paper we have Son - Odobert - Moore for the left hand side plus Tel who also plays there. So 4 left side forwards.

On the right we have Johnson (not good enough) - Kulu (better infield) - Ajayi (maybe, but let's see if we see him getting minutes)

Seems massively unbalanced unless Tel is primarily going to play striker for us?
Tel wants to play CF
We have an issue there

I think he'd defacto be Richy's replacement, if he stays beyond the spring. Hopefully we are still after a creative lock picker for the right (Dibling) too.

Exciting player, I like him. Shame we couldn't get a buy option.

I'd stick him at CF against Liverpool. Richie could barely run or control the ball against Brentford.

Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, sources have told BBC Sport.

The 19-year-old reportedly rejected Spurs earlier this month but is now expected to move to north London.

A picture was posted by his agent Gadiri Camara today appearing to show them both on a private jet.

Sources told BBC Sport that Tel has agreed to join Spurs, although the exact structure of the deal is yet to be confirmed.

It is unclear if it will be a permanent or loan deal.

We do, just that i've seen various analysis of his game. Most suggested he was more of a LWF than a CF but I honestly have never really watched him play and I haven't bothered with the highlights. I tend not to until the player is signed just so I don't get my hopes up. 😅
From what little I’ve seen of him he is like Henry was
Whether he will get where he become… we shall see m

We have got him in as a stop gap for when we sign the young lad at Southampton in the summer.

I'm not sure. One is a direct left sided player who'll evolve into a CF. The other is an indirect right sided player.

I'd guess that if Tel does well, and want to stay, we'd go for him rather than say Delap.

It's because he can both run at players with the ball, and play with his back to goal and do the hold-up play. He seems genuinely versatile across the two positions, in a way say Son never has convinced in the latter

Think the reality now is news is fully managed. It is released when parties want it to be. Often times, photos are old, and planned, and drip-fed for effect and engagement.

The days of a fella sitting next to Daniel Levys table in the US, and eves dropping and posting on social media are long gone!
