Politics, politics, politics

19% of the public have support for Fracking
Tory government were all for allowing decisions to be taken at local level
Just overturned decision by council and allowing Fracking in Yorkshire.

More to come, no end in sight, no credible opposition.

Hope you enjoyed the clean air, beaches etc. Cash is king.

2.5 years to plan and move

This was my argument throughout - EU is not perfect vast majority of decent laws for the working class have come through it. Clean beaches, Clean air , decent working hours, decent access for disabled.... thank the EU. counter argument was we could have brought these laws in anyway -but we didn't and we wouldn't. this is the Red Tape that we want to cut.

I've never verified it but lots of papers always say a lot of employment laws in the UK go beyond the mandatory minimum anyway e.g. maternity leave etc.

Reality Check: Does the EU protect workers' rights? - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36434855

But the point is to look at modern Tory rhetoric and think of the impact in an economy where we are competing with China, USA and EU on price and output.
The Tories will look to the US as a model.

We shall see, many don't like TTIP because a lot of the US standards for health and safety, environment etc are lower than that of the EU.

Putting a link from the BBC is a bit like putting up a link from the daily mail, it invalidates your argument as your source material is so biased.

No.....by poor economic management, usually driven by the actions (or inactions) of politicians with vested interests.

The EU is nowhere near perfect, but if you think this Tory Govt is going to improve the situation you describe then you are in a very unpleasant awakening unfortunately
