Politics, politics, politics

So Gove effectively totally roostered it up for the Leave candidates (thankfully)
Can't say I am enthralled by either choice but just on experience it has to be May.

it's interesting, we know he was a puppet but is this capitulation part of a wider plan

I have many issues with leadsom, she's either deep
in pocket or stupid

Great. Thanks Milo. I want May, a serious boring politician that will make decisions based on facts (hopefully) rather than playing to the galleries.

This is so funny! It goes to what the Tories are. They have no empathy...none, not even for their own. They will say and do anything to grab power. What a piece of work, she is contemptible. Ha, ha.

The denial lacks plausibility, in that she insists that it was the opposite of what she said. What, that having kids, gives you less of a stake in the future? Desperate to repair the damage or what?

Why does that not surprise me, seems to me is this day and age if some do not get the result they make it null and void and go again.

It's not all one way, he says that the Prime Minister's prerogative powers do extend to triggering Article 50 which has been questioned by some.

It seems odd to me that people would question whether Parliament should play a role in debating what type of deal we should strike with Europe. If the leave campaign had been clear on the type of deal it was campaigning for, I think that there would be a clear mandate, but as they refused to do that before the vote, it needs to happen afterwards.
