Politics, politics, politics

I believe he's a communist pretending to be on the left of the Labour Party.
He's been quite open about that hasn't he? He regularly defended communism in his Grauniad column.

Let's not forget he's also one of those "terrorism is all our fault" types too.

Clarke is about as welcome in the conservative party as I would be. Not sure why he ever joined them.

Guessing he is staying on as a MEP because he wants to destroy the EU. Something I would fully support,he said in his third resignation speech that he wanted to help other countries leave. A very noble act from a man who despite not being a great politician and making plenty of mistakes managed to achieve the spectacular.

Are you talking about Clarke or Farage?o_O

I think that she might be certifiable

Andrea Leadsom said:
There is a view that the internet is in need of a monitor for obscene and adult websites. Outside of cyberspace, we have bodies such as Ofcom and the British Board of Film Classification that continually work to ensure our children are not exposed to the wrong things. This could be implemented in some way online, whereby a website would have to have its content "rated" before being accessible online. While it sounds like a massive leap, the majority of new websites already go through testing when they are hosted to make sure that a site is intact and that files and content are free of viruses. This would simply be adding another check to the list, and in reality it is a burden already carried by film makers.

Clarke. But the point is good for both really.

I really am serious about taking the family to the US, whether we stay in the EU or not does not matter hugely to me as without being roostery, I have enough money for it to not really effect me.

But the most important thing in my life is that my son grows up to be strong and independent of mind and spirit. I could not care less if he became a Muslim, gay or married someone from abroad (I did). But I worry if we stay in this country he will become a negative little cry baby that can not make decisions for himself or is to shy to go out into the world and make something of himself. I am serious if he grew up to be like one of those protesters or lawyers I would disown him.

Leadsom or May - how repressive do you want the country?!
Time to learn Danish

I wouldn't be surprised to see the MPs move against Leadsom and vote tactically to get someone else on the two that go to members. Crabb would be the most likely beneficiary.

Despite being a remainer which is not what the leader should be, I could actually live with that, council estate kid single mum but most important apart from Europe he seems to have sound views. Not enough to make me vote Tory but still would not mind him as PM. Frankly don't want a woman not even convinced they should be allowed on the roads.

Actually, scrap that, I think that May supporters are more likely to lend votes to Gove knowing that he is a dead man walking

If Gove and his people are told that he has no chance in a final two against May and if he really wants a Brexiteer in with a chance then he might be persuaded to step down and allow Leadsom a free run at May

He thinks gay can be cured.

Considering the sauce, could that be selective quotes?

I know she's a GHod bothering fudgewits but that sounds like standing on Westminster Bridge shouting "Don't elect me"

She wrote the first part, it is a head to head on internet censorship, although admittedly from four years ago.

Her city career is being over-talked too, she spent most of it in corporate governance.

If he was backing Leadsom it would be for the same reason as Boris, she's not up to the job and would be replaced within a couple of years.
