Politics, politics, politics

I wouldn't be at all surprised if that's how it plays out, but it would be entirely wrong IMO.

The only way to do this would be to offer different terms of leaving to another referendum - ie one group presenting the "UKIP" case for restricted movement/restricted access to the free market and the other presenting the case for free movement and free access.

I would be very interested in seeing what the results would be if we had a vote on (very roughly) the following options:

Status quo
Norway
Turkey
WTO

You are both spot on, just because one side lost the vote gives them no moral right to insist on anything but. Bunch of bad losers.

Which flavour of Brexit won the referendum? There is the world of difference between a deal similar to Norway and trading on WTO terms. Do you think that Parliament should not get a say in this?

I suspect that the leave vote would lean towards Norway but be split.

To make that a fair choice, you really need to split the status quo into 3 options too. That or just split leave into 3 without the remain option (seeing as that bit has already been done).

I'm not sure how you could split status quo *insert Rick Parfitt joke here*

Norway wouldn't satisfy those who voted because of immigration and I think that it would be difficult to sell the benefits over status quo but I would agree that it is the least worst leave option.

There is no point in having any more referendums on this. We've had our voice heard, the result is in and now it's up to parliament to make a decision on any potential leave deal once all the negotiations are over.

I didn't say that there was. I said that I would be curious in the result if we did.

The referendum that we had only told us that 51% of voters rejected what we have now, I am interested in what they would like to see replace it, which the referendum did not address.

Yep, i wonder if the vote had gone the other way if they would be as much crying and wailing.
