I don't see it. Fabregas left to win things, why would he go back to Arsenal? Sure they would have first option, however i think he'd still be far more likely to join RVP at United or Nasri at City.
Would likely be taking a pay cut to move to Arsenal with a much reduced chance of trophies.

They're not a one man team. Rodgers has made them a good passing team who decimate the lower teams. Sturridge looks to be a very inspired signing.

Even though that may be true, they are going to miss his goals. Same as we would have without Bale. When things aren't going their way he could make a goal on his own.

Homesickness, I think. He couldn't play for Spain for a few years because of it.
Hopefully he's gotten over it to some extent, I'd hate to see him wilt away at the madhouse that is City. Though Pellegrini would definitely be a fine manager to coax the best out og him.

This Monaco thing could implode very easily. Big egos, Monte Carlo, massive wages... there's a danger of a party atmosphere developing which could mess up the work-ethic big time. I can see quite a few of these big name signings leaving for half the price over the next year or two.
