Other Clubs - Rumours and Discussion

Sky Sports sources understand Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Cardiff City have all shown strong interest in Blackpool star Tom Ince

Napolis star striker Edinson Cavani is in talks with Real Madrid and Emirates Marketing Project, according to his mother.

Ha. How many do they need? Marin, Moses, Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Schurrle. Technically Malouda and Benayoun are still there too. Ulises Dávila, Thorgan Hazard, Gaël Kakuta, Lucas Piazón, Kevin de Bruyne, Anjur Osmanovic are all attacking midfielders on loan. Have I missed anyone?

Marin isn't good enough. Moses is good, but clearly inferior to the first choice 3 pre-Schurrle. Malouda and Benayoun gone like Jordinho pointed out.

Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Schurrle - 3 of the 4 starting. de Bruyne as the next option perhaps, some other youngsters. Oscar can play a slightly deeper playmaker role, Schurrle could be an option up front.

Seems about right to me for a club like Chelsea...

I've heard that Okore is very highly rated... can any of the Danes on here confirm that?

4M£ for Okore is an absolute bargain IMO. He's perfectly suited for the Premier League as he's both fast and physically strong. He reminds a bit of Micah Richards or dare I say a young Sol Campbell. He's aggressive, reads the game well and has a decent technique although I wouldn't describe as a ball playing defender. His biggest weakness is that he sometimes takes too many risks but I guess he'll eliminate these mistakes the more experience he'll get.

Most top clubs have been rumoured to be interested in him but he wanted regular first team football which is why he chose Villa.

Denmark looks to have a very bright future.

Okore, Kjaer, Eriksen, Cornelius, Fischer are all still young whilst they have the experience of Agger, Lindegaard, Jensen, Kahlenberg, Krohn-Deli, Poulsen etc.

Then again I seem to notice that a lot of European Countries are producing some real fine talent, notably Norway and Switzerland.

I agree, although we've just experienced the biggest humilation in my life time loosing 0-4 to Armenia at home which means we practically failed to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil. Our U19 team is also rated very highly with great prospects such as Anders Christensen (Chelsea), Patrick Olsen (Inter), Lucas Andersen (Ajax), Christian Nørgaard (HSV), Kenneth Zohore (Fiorentina) and Pierre Emil Højbjerg who I believe was the youngest player ever to play for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Hopefully we can copy what Belgium has done over the last couple of years as they now seem to have one the most interesting national teams.

We haven't really got any players like that have we? I mean the Chelsea AMs, not Zanetti.

Think that's what we're crying out for.

Arguably Bale is one but we need at least 3. Bernard may be one and Townsend could fit the bill.... siggy might too if he carries in progressing but Chelsea's decent ones all cost £20M plus!!!!

It seems excessive to me

Yeah I like Moses too. His chances are limited at Chelsea so he might be tempted into a move.

Was there some talk of Mata leaving of did I imagine that?

You didn't. The media were all over a 'Mourinho doesn't want Mata' thing, but it seems to have blown over. There is the occasional Mata to Real Madrid though.

Though both are likely gonads.

Cavani is in talks with Emirates Marketing Project, according to his mother.

He will reject a move to England as he has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, according to his father.
