Exactly. Thought it looked harsh at first, but when you see him still lunging his leg at Maddison after he's slipped, it's pretty clear to me.yes Fernandes slips, but he has all the time in the world to pull out of the challenge

I don’t get how Redknapp says he was trying to win the ball. That’s fudging stupid analysis. He cynically lifted his leg to challenge after he’s been beaten.I agree.
It's unlucky, if it was given as a yellow I wouldn't have grumbled, I certainly won't it's a red!
Did you see Sonny last week…
If we can hold on thats a big improvement to our defence as of lately...if we do our job defensively, we keep a clean sheet, and we don't need to score another
Whether he is good enough long term is a different discussion, but you are talking crap about his performance today and it's blinded by your opinion of him.And that is precisely why we don;t win anything, because we should judge players over long period of time, because the best have players that play good 90% of the time, we seem to support and want to play players that have good games 20% of the time.
Even today, apart from giving the ball away less, he has provided almost nothing and missed a glaring opportunity to put us 2 up.
I hate the way so many of our fans support mediocre, then cry that we don't win things.
He ain;t good enough and should never had come back to the club.
I don't think it's the force. It's the act.I didn’t think so to be honest. He hasn’t gone with any force. It’s soft for me but he’s a clam and it’s against us so I’ll take it. We just need to make sure we don’t give the ref a chance to even it up.
