Dunno how you could have been impressed with him based on that. Not his fault but all he did was wave everyone forward because he was isolated.Been impressed with Tel. I think there is enough. What is clear though is some players are either tired or simply don't have the mental ability or resilience. Painful loss boys but onto the next one.
Sarr is a young player.Bergvail worked harder than the other three did all game.
Honestly I want us to just go with the young players. They are fighting more.
Gray into midfield with Bergvail
Moore on the wing
Biss, bents plodded through that game. Sarr just looked lost.
We need energy in this team.
Checking the fine print of his contract on the coach back
All in all, a dire performance all round with pretty much zero real positives. It’s the second time recently against them that the goals only stopped because they decided to stop. It’s pointless, but I can’t help thinking how things could have turned out if Dyke hadn’t been allowed to elbow an opponent in the throat. TBH they probably wouldn’t still beaten us quite easily.
Our season isn’t going to be graded based on results at places like a field though. So let’s see what Sunday brings. I’m not looking forward to Sunday but at least I’ll get a pre match ruby in Brum
Our passing is utter manure.
Lol at how fans expected much different. Have to be realistic lads. Against the best team in the land, missing oodles of players, what kind of miracle were you expecting? We rolled the dice, we were in the game until 70 mins, we had to attack and try to score, what else would you do in a cup game?
Not too down on that one. Take the positives of Danco, Spence and Tel.
These waiting for a trophy goes on comments from pundits are so boring. Spurs are a team with owners no longer interested in trophy winning.
I don't think they mentioned Newcastles 70 year wait once last night.also never mention it about other teams.
Well said!!Lol at how fans expected much different. Have to be realistic lads. Against the best team in the land, missing oodles of players, what kind of miracle were you expecting? IIRC Liverpool have only lost to 2 English teams this season, Us and Forest.
I get Forest, but I am still scratching my head as to how we actually beat them in the 1st leg
We could ask why is Ange alsowhy the hell is Son still on the pitch.
That’s my opinion. And as a manager, when you need a goal, it must be hard to take him off.Sonny just looks completely knackered to me. No idea why he's played the entire game.
That’s it. Liverpool were brilliant but they can be got at. Off the top of my head, Forest got at them twice, Brighton got at them, United got at them, even Southampton got at them. We were woeful. Just spineless. No way that team is winning anything this season.Wish we could’ve battled it out for a 2-2 draw, like ManUre did at Anfield last month.
