***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

We just haven't been in this game at all.

Poor passing, and when we can find a pass Liverpool press us so we have no time or options.

Our press against them have killed us. We step up and someone steps in behind in the space.

Just not good enough from us, even if they are a good side

It's all well and nice playing out from the back, but you need movement and players showing for the ball. We just keep playing ourselves into dead ends or just giving the ball away.

Not sure what tactically we did wrong today
We played 2 defensive midfielders
One of which gave them tge key goal and it was an easy pass
Were not playing Ange ball at all
We aren't and never will be a canny defensively astute team. I know what you're saying but there are coaches at lesser teams that are able to get better results so whilst I never expected to go through tonight and I am not upset at all I don't think it's enough to just say he played two DMs and that there was nothing else he could do. We know other coaches we setup differently even if by hook or by crook.

Ange just isn't a defensive minded coach and he's never demonstrated for us that he can navigate situations like this one, even with the first 11.

But we are playing a containing gameplan, a plan we haven't used since Ange got here. Players quite rightly have no clue what to do and against the best team in the world
We wouldn’t have a clue even if Ange stuck to his plan a.

That’s what happens when you are managed by a macaron who is out of his depth

The sad thing is he will be here until the end of the season

It will be after the United or Ipswich. We'll have the full week off and if we still look this bad it can be no excuses.
He's not going anywhere, sadly. It would have been done already if he was. He is seeing out the season for sure. And given that he's been whispering sweet nothings to Tel and Melia to get them to sign for us he may have been told he's got next season as well!

Saddest thing is I’m just numb watching us.

Yep, me too and I bet we are not alone.

I fully expect us to lose EVERY game these days. I have never been super-optimistic with Spurs us anyway due to 50 years of disappoinment (bar sporadic successes) but recently just no confidence at all

I didnt even think we would beat Soton, that was a shock to me, Leicester was no surprise
