We aren't and never will be a canny defensively astute team. I know what you're saying but there are coaches at lesser teams that are able to get better results so whilst I never expected to go through tonight and I am not upset at all I don't think it's enough to just say he played two DMs and that there was nothing else he could do. We know other coaches we setup differently even if by hook or by crook.

Ange just isn't a defensive minded coach and he's never demonstrated for us that he can navigate situations like this one, even with the first 11.

It's all well and nice playing out from the back, but you need movement and players showing for the ball. We just keep playing ourselves into dead ends or just giving the ball away.

Yeah, that's the frustrating thing. We can all see it's happened early on in this game (and any game we get a high pressure against us) but we keep trying.

He just came back from some injuries. I would still keep him around.

Bentancur or Bentancur is worth keeping around but we need a Kulusevski / Spence level of #6 who can be trusted to be dominant in the middle every game whilst Gray and Spence learn the position.

I'd actually like to see him play it because he's done ok in some of the roles we have tried him out in this season but until we actually see him at DM we don't actually know how well he will perform.
