Last week was the best of Angeball, this is the worst. Slow, ponderous, look easy to contain and we look an absolute brickshow at the back. Their goal wasn’t a surprise, they had a couple of decent chances earlier.

We’re completely off it. Sarr and Solanke haven’t been too bad, the rest have been awful.

There is no tactic that succeeds with such players. Players must win their battles to progress moves and break down opponents tactics. We have been too lackadaisical this half.

The buck stops with him, whether it's tactics or players not being motivated it's on him.

Players have to be held responsible as well. Particularly where they utterly bottle a challenge which leads to a goal. Manager has absolutely zero control over that.

I repeat it is not on his tactics. Players have to show up and win their 50-50s. Spurs players have not done that consistently this half.

Players too tired from europe and angeball is too inefficient - if we dont score first and open up the game, we tire faster.

I’d agree , but hopefully you get what I mean. No real world beaters. Some talk about Romero but I’m not sure. Far better out there. All looks a bit middle of the road our squad.

The whole problem is, that Anges system requires us to effective at attacking and putting teams to the sword.

We are too slow, lack creativity, rarely find the number 9, give the ball away for to easily. Out attacks are chaotic and most of the time lack a plan, devoid of ideas... most of the crosses are aimless hit and hopes.

This ultimately then puts a lot of pressure on the defence.

Yes the defending is poor, but half the time we shouldn't have lost the ball in the first place and half decent probably would have scored by now at home.

We could score 5. We could score none or anything in between. That’s the problem
I guess, you never know what you’ll get from Tottenham. I still think we will win but no result would surprise me.
