***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

Everyone complaining about the injuries tonight. For our first team we were really only short of our two centre backs. Are they important players to miss? Of course. But I’m sure the same could be said about Saka for them.

The rest of that team is close to as good as it gets right now. Spence is probably level with Udogie and has maybe performed better than him this season.

The biggest problem is we have no quality out wide most of the time. We need a top quality winger but who can we get?
Forgot about our keeper Vicario? Our new keeper isn't no.1 yet. Bentancur missing too. And like you say no Romero and VDV is quite a spine we are missing! A bit different to just Saka being out. And the ever reliable Davies at CB would be making a huge difference. Then consider those that have been fit enough to play have played way more than they should have these past couple of months. It's ridiculous to try and suggest that injuries are not a factor. Agree our wide forwards are the biggest issue quality wise, but if Odobert hadn't got injured he would be ahead of Son by now.....

This. Since that infamous €havski match our PL record is:

19 Wins 7 Draws 23 Losses
64 Points from 49 Games

Hopefully he at least does a Juande Ramos and pick up a cup if he cannot turn our PL form around.
That is absolutely dreadful for a team that should be top 6 or top 8. Jol, Harry, AVB, Poch, Jose, Conte and Nuno were sacked for less.

Sure, at some stage, Levy has to change approach but there is no point doing it if you have a man in charge who is guiding you to mediocrity.

The next few games to Liverpool are huge. If we continue this run and lose that semi final, there’s not much to hang your hat on with Ange.

We couldn't even get out of our half for the first 20 minutes.
I don't know if that was more due to Arse brilliance or Spurs ineptitude, but that was heavy going.
Then we got a small bit of fortune for once with Son's goal, then we shot ourselves in the foot with another own goal.
Commentary said we've scored 4 own goals in the last 5 NLDs or something, I mean WTF is that all about?

Kinksy has been annointed the second coming of Jennings over the last week.

Maybe some went early on that.

For me the biggest problem is the wingers- Son and Johnson.... Neither offer any real threat going forward.. They both get the ball and just lay it back and then we don't know what to do.... They are both OK if running into space but they are not playing Sunday morning football so it's not there...

Just imagine if we had Saka and Gordon....

Odobert is only 21.... Moore 17.... Yang 18 so we can't expect too much from them just yet....

Fortunately Wolves, Leicester and Everton all lost today.... We are definitely looking down rather than up and unless we get some quality wingers in the January transfer window it could get a lot worse....

And if my car had wings it would be a plane.

Perhaps our biggest problem is that we have only started to even attempt to play the hand we were dealt in the last couple of weeks.

Personally I've never been critical of the club for sacking managers too soon.

People are saying he should take us in to next season - that will be his third! Who was our last manager to start a third season with us and what had they done in their first two in order to reach that point? Going in to a third season still waiting for some progress to be shown is absolutely fudging crazy

We should have course, I dunno.... try a different tactic that is less winger heavy

He has already outdone the last 3 managers
