***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

Everyone complaining about the injuries tonight. For our first team we were really only short of our two centre backs. Are they important players to miss? Of course. But I’m sure the same could be said about Saka for them.

The rest of that team is close to as good as it gets right now. Spence is probably level with Udogie and has maybe performed better than him this season.

The biggest problem is we have no quality out wide most of the time. We need a top quality winger but who can we get?

and Gray and Dragusin have been just as good as what we saw from Romero and VDV at the start of the season, if anything, they have made fewer mistakes

What surprises me most tonight is how poor Arsenal were. Of course they didn’t actually need to be very good…

Personally I have had conflicting views about whether or not we stick with Ange. We’ve had so, so many tepid and inept performances that I have serious doubts about his calibre as a coach. That said, the squad is riddled with injuries and those that are still ‘fit’ look absolutely spent. We had one fresh outfield player left and he broke his neck in the first five mins against liverpool* - how Spurs is that? Can we really assess Ange before we get a run with a more complete squad? I think we were a little unfortunate several times recently to get so little (Wolves, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Forest) and I don’t think we can continue being so unlucky.

*deliberate exaggeration

Well that was awful and inevitable when they equalised.

Tired of losing away to arsenal it's just the same old story.

Until levy leaves we will see this again next season and the one after that and after that... You get me.

Poor all round I thought.

What is galling is that Arsenal weren't even that good today. We were just quite poor. There are mitigating circumstances with the injuries, of course, but we're on a downward trend for a long time now, and no sign of him pulling us out of this nosedive.

I'm ambivalent now about whether Ange stays or goes. If we are not in a relegation battle then let him see the cups out.

I'll tell you what though, how many bad decisions did they make?

Narrow down 'they'

(a) Spurs players
(b) Ange
(c) The ref
(d) Me picking this team to support
(e) The US voters
(f) All of the above

Arsenal, how many risky passes did they make in their own box, or stupid tackles when we weren't going anywhere?

They play really smart football and grind every advantage they can.

Did the same with Mourinho when he got us to the League cup final and we lost it with another coach. Let Ange play it till the end, he got us this far. Should have let Mourinho play that final.

Try a job share? Ange for the cup, Mason to try and salvage Europa and the league?
