Mines all installed and ready to fire up. Very VERY close to finishing GTA 4 (I think... Found the guy he was looking for so cant be much left to do now) so I will be free to start either Hitman or FarCry tomorrow... Probably FarCry as I been lookin forward to it for a while
Weve got similar taste in games mate. Hitman is incredible

Yeah hopin the misses will give me the green light to go play it lol. We are lookin after her sisters boy so I've been told to "help out" but him and my boy now asleep is perfect oppertunity... But dunno what to play? Finish off GTA 4? Hitman? Or FarCry3?

I can't wait to mass murder some wildlife in Far Cry. This latest hitman didn't get the best reviews, but you guys seem to be enjoying it. I've played most of the games in the series and enjoyed them a lot. Might add it to the 'buy later' list, along with dishonored and max payne 3.

Yeah ive completely missed Max Payne 3. Heard it aint that bad so will keep it on the radar for a future bargain purchase. Hitman has had some negative reviews because the way the new one holds your hand a little. But the developers said you can turn every aid off to play it in a more hardcore mode. Will test the waters first before i dive into that mode tho.
As for FarCry3 im really lookin forward to all the different approaches such as stealth, guns blaizing or using the environment. Plus hunting wildlife and crafting weapons and upgrades all sounds good to me.
But MUST finish GTA first otherwise I never will... Just been given the greeen light after I picked up her Avon and made her a bacon sandwich. Creepin gets you everywhere
EDIT: Finally completed GTA 4!! Absolutely brilliant game even 4yrs on. But with a little modding it could pass as a 2012 game no problem. I've rambled on about how brilliant the GTA series is already but I really think this is one of the best ones despite the hate it gets from some section of gamers. Considering it was the first GTA to use the RAGEngine, and it made the leap into next gen, they really have made a master piece. Ok so it didn't have planes or bycicles or jetpacks and was a little more serious than SA or VC but thats what makes it stand out from the othe GTA's for me. Such a detailed and believable city coupled with believable characters it's obvious why this series carries so much hype each release... Because no one can make freeroaming games like them. Many have tried but always fall so short of the production value you get with GTA.
It's why I'm so excited about GTA 5... They've had 4+ years to play with the RAGEngine now and Read Dead Redemption was just another way of showing off what they can do with it, introducing big open wilderness. So with GTA 5 having both wilderness and huge city to roam along with underwater and wildlife, etc. It's truely going to be epic no doubt about it!
May install the Episodes for Liberty City later but think I'm gonna try out Hitman or FarCry3 before I dive into those

FarCry3 first impressions.... So far so good! Very cinematic and the bad guy is played really well. Plays nicely, havent done much yet but enjoyed taking my first outpost... Tried sneaky but they found the first body and I had to go loud. There was a notice board with missions such as hunt certain animals for skins or hunt bounties. I did one bounty and a supply drop mission and thats about it for now.
Its very nice to look at and the animations are smooth giving it a very fluid and realistic feel when moving, running, etc. Like i said, so far so good

Online. Was on there last night and some young sounding child was constantly screaming for everyone to do as he says so we can do the easter egg! While everyone else was on about 20-30 kills, this little man child was on about 4 and still shouting orders. We all got killed in the grass in the end by the face rapers.

Just completed Dishonored on the PS3. Loved it, Game Of The Year for me.... Superb concepts and a great "stealth em up" all round. Managed to get a really good trade-in deal too... Game price matched CEX and took it off me for £22, in part ex for second hand limited edition Hitman!
Absolutely loved Hitman on the PS2 so really looking forward to spending a bit of time on this now Footie games (especially PES) are my main poison but I do like a good adventure one every now and again!

So true about the time that it wastes! Mate & I played the main Zombies level on the previous Black Ops. One game took us 2 and a half hours until we were both killed!! Insane.
I like playing it but get frustrated at myself whenever I make silly mistakes which cost me. That and running around in circles can get samey after a while.

This! Suprised you guys got FC3 later than us tho... Usually other way round.
Talking of release dates, still no confirmed PC release date for GTA5. A quick google brought some worrying articles that it may not even be ported to PC!? But newer articles seem to think otherwise and that itll be announced soon.
As for console owners... 116 days to go till GTA5

I've got an xbox, and although I generally prefer the PC ports since they tend to have better graphics, I'll be prepared to plop down for GTAV on a console. In fact, it's GTA, Halo, and FIFA that are the only games I play on xbox. There was a petition asking Rockstar to make a PC version of GTAV, but I haven't followed up on it recently. Rockstar is one of those studios that can get away with doing whatever they want so I won't be holding my breath. What I do want from Rockstar is to hear SOMETHING about what they plan for PC.

Yeah after they stated they will NOT be porting Read Dead Redemption it is worrying as I no longer own any consoles. Plus the PC port of GTA4 is noticeably more detailed than its console version... I noticed how low the detail on the R8 lookalike was in the latest GTA5 trailer. Although character detail has improved from 4.
Not played Halo since that one where u played as a soldier not MC. As for FIFA, only downside to PC play is lack of friends with a PC to pkay against. Bring on cross platform multiplayer ASAP
