Company of Heroes 2.

Apologies for spamming this thread (well I like to think im "bumping" it not spamming) but I have just downloaded the new DLC for RAGE called Scorchers. Not played it yet but excited as RAGE was a game I felt had so much potential to be a huge hit! Especially its shooting mechanics felt really fun to play. But its biggest downside for me was it felt too short... I felt just as I was getting good at dispatching the mutants in more creative ways and really getting a feel for the game, it was over.
So DLC is very welcome, and quite out of the blue too. I heard nothing of this till a couple days ago but apparently this is content that was meant for original release but they didnt have time to finalise it. Its only 3.50GBP or 5USD but apparently adds some new missions, weapons, areas, a new even harder difficulty setting and a whole new mutant clan called Scorchers.
This has come at just the right time as Im close to completing FarCry3 now and wanna continue playing something of a similar genre. RAGE is just that. I hope this is the first of more DLC
I pledged money to both games and, while they're a ways off, I am pretty damn excited about them.
I remember playing Wing Commander: Prophecy, which was the last in the series, but damn what a good game. Star Citizen looks pretty amazing in the concept videos, I have to say.

I played it for a bit. Never got more than a couple of hours in. Found out about a game-breaking weapon that one-shot killed anything you came up against, namely that metal boomerang thing, so gave up trying.
As far as I remember, it was a standard post-apocalyptic shooter. What made it so memorable for you?
I pledged some cash too. SC's physics engine and spaceship navigation videos blew my mind, and I have fond memories of WC, as you evidently do. So it wasn't a hard choice.
Kickstarter's really come alive this past year, and long may it continue.
The next game getting coverage on kickstarter is Godus, with less than 24 hours to go. It's by Peter Molyneux of Populous and Black & White fame...
I checked the gameplay prototype videos and I honestly wonder what the point of the game is. If all you're doing is manipulating land around your followers, it doesn't seem to deep.
I'm just hoping that Elite gets its funding on Kickstarter, but with two weeks left its not looking good
