There is just something I can not put my finger on, it just was not Bond imo - I don't know why but it just did not feel that way at all, I personally think Quantum was a far better watch.

Some amazing fight scenes in that film!
Apparently they couldn't get enough funding for the original story they wrote so ended up making The Raid and hoping it did well enough to get a bigger budget to make their original idea... which will now be a sequel or prequel etc.

Casino Royal is the best of the Daniel Craig Bond movies. I would say the first half of Sky fall is better, but the the 2nd half was a not as good. A very good film and much better than Quantum of Solace so worth seeing thats for sure.

Totally agree with this too. As good as Skyfall was, for me it fell short of the quality of Casino Royale, but def still worth watching

Depends how you felt bout Casino Royale. For many it was a step in the right direction for Bond films as it matured them. Less cheesy 1 liners and more gritty action/violence.
For me Skyfall slowly slips back into the old habbits of older Bonds and goes back to the cheesy lines and some silly set pieces. But the film is entertaining and certainly worth a watch. I really enjoyed it but just worry that Casino took 2 steps forward and Skyfall takes half a step back.

Casino Royale was better. I think they made a decision to try and make the new bond films like the Bourne films, a smart move in my opinion. Possibly my views on the films might be influenced by the fact that I went into Casino Royale with low expectations as I had grown a bit tired of the bond films and was presently surprised, whereas there was a great deal of hype surrounding this film saying it was the best Daniel Craig bond film and one of the best bond movies ever.
