Went through the list and copied the ones I haven't seen

You Only Live Twice (1967)

&

Quantum of Solace (2008)

I've only just watched Casino Royale a couple of a days ago so will hopefully get on Quantum soon. I've seen all the others but many when I was a lot younger

My missus has got me a few of the books, real nice old copies of them so I'll have to get round to reading them soon as well

Edit: The sunglasses smiley is a necessary evil apparently...

Quantum is very weak, so don't hold your breath

You Only Live Twice is better than Thunderball but not as good as Goldfinger, imv. Some nice exotic birds though!

Yeah haven't heard great things about Quantum of Solace but I do think Daniel Craig is a terrific Bond so I've got to give it a fair chance

Daltons my favourite.
Same here, 'cept for me License To Kill is the best of the films.

I read once that Dalton's Bond was closest to Flemming's character from the books. Although I admit I can't remember where I read that, and I may have imagined that just now to back up my support for Dalton ;)

I like all of them really though, Lazenby not so much, but he suffered for a rubbish film.

something else annoyed me about skyfall actually, the tube sequence had them on the district line, but it was 1995 northern line stock

Anyone seen Argo yet?

I hear and expect good things.
I am going to see it tomorrow with my Movember tache for that period feel...

Maybe a unpopular opinion but, I can't stand Craig as bond. He just seems to be the complete opposite of what Bond is supposed to be, don't get me wrong he's a good actor but, not a bond for me imo

My top films of 2012

1. Dark Knight Rises
2. The Raid
3. The Hobbit.... I'm pre-empting that this will be in the top 3, if not I'll be very disappointed... that and well, Avengers was excellent but I can't help but think that I'm missing a film for third place and I can't think what it is. I might update my post if I can find another choice. Skyfall was very good too but I wouldn't choose it top 3.

I thought Looper was one of the most overrated films of the year and was disappointed as I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I had wanted to.

I was thinking of adding The Descendants as I thought that that was good, even if it isn't a typical Blockbuster Hollywood movie, but then I realised that it was released in 2011.

Just watched the Sweeney never knew brody was from London haha
Is the internal affairs dude the posh dude from lock stock? Winston?

I loved The Descendants, but wasn't that 2011? One of my favourite films in recent years though.

I thought Looper was really cool. I rate JGL as one of the best young actors around. It was an original idea too, you don't get too many of them from Hollywood these days.

As much as I enjoyed Skyfall, I wouldn't put it in my top 3.

Dark Knight Rises was also excellent, but I thought it was too long.

Licence To Kill was much more violent than any other bond film, which I like.

Connery is my favourite. Goldfinger is my favourite bond film. There's just something about the 60s that was effortlessly cool, and the women of that era, especially the Bond girls are hot as fudge!

Here's the Hobbit soundtrack.

Glad to see some love for the Raid. On a similar, but lesser note, Dredd was enjoyable fun.

I'm actually debating taking a day off work to watch The Hobbit, the first time in some time that I've considered doing so.

I won't listen to the soundtrack as it will take the edge off of my enjoyment of the film ahead of time. I want the experience to be as fresh as possible. Sadly trailers, and some knowledge of the book; I read it years ago, is unavoidable but otherwise I'm doing what I can to preserve the anticipation rather than diluting it by viewing/listening to spoilers.

You should read the Trivia on imdb.com some time - very interesting facts and stories from the flick. Those were the days.

I saw Skyfall on Sunday night, it was not what i expected.
If it was a stand alone action flick then it would be more enjoyable, but as a James Bond film, it wasn't the best.
