How is that even possible that you hadn't realised how hot she is? Have you seen many of her other movies?

You know what? Maybe I was just feeling horny throughout the movie that even Roseanne would have been hot.

She is hot just never saw her like 'wow'. Me being from a country where there are a few brunettes with that look I have friends who look fairly similiar to her - although she is russian right? or Eastern European I say

Just seen skyfall, did enjoy it but the second half didn't feel like a bond movie, I enjoyed all the little in jokes but felt they hammered them home to much and were a bit too cute for the new bonds, we know what the gear stick button does, we know Eve's surname and know who fiennes became, we didn't need the awkward dialog to explain it

felt a bit like a reboot of the reboot to me

I think Bond really should die - about time they did a 'he dies' scene.

Connery is Bond. The others are all battling it out for second place.

Brosnan did a decent job, imv while Craig has a much stronger charisma (in a nihilist way) besides his lack of dark hair, which fits very well with the current line of Bond movies - i.e. more character focused as opposed to gadgets and sluts

Bond's a character of the times, correct? So Craig seems ideal for this time. 60's, 70's, 80's....the big goofy Soviets were around to provide an easy, recognizable backdrop to many of Bond's adventures, so he was accordingly rather gung-ho and devilish and ever-so-slightly corny. After the fall of the Union, the 90's and its yuppies took over, so Bond became more suave, the gadgets became more sleek and designer-built, and the unrealistic plots became more concerned with press moguls and oil barons. Now, it's a time of terrorism, depressions and evil-looking banking systems, so Bond becomes gruff and dark and distinctly un-suited to suavity.

So depends on which background suits your fancy. I've always liked Moore's Bond best though. Thunderball was Connery's worst Bond mistake, and I had the misfortune of watching that one first, so it put me off. Moore's Bond was just the right amount of suave. And he was funny as well. A more interesting question, though, would be which Bond had the best Bond girls? There's a thought. :)

Funny - I would have had Moore at the bottom, just above Dalton

As for ladies - Connery's 60s flicks, by far. Vintage, mmmmm....

Bastard would be at the very bottom of my description list - more a clown with bad hair :)

He had nowhere near 'enough' charisma, looks, charm, muscles or talks to be anything near a true Bond, imv

The recognised great Bonds are all "of their era". 60's Connery, 70's/80's Moore, 90's/00's Brosnan & late 00's/10's Craig. I think they all played the part well and suited the character to the way the movies were made and stories fitted into those times. There is no best Bond there are only peoples opinions on the best Bond era. IMO.

depends on what you consider a true bond, ian fleming himself said that connery was not the man he had in mind

Craig's Bond is the closest thing to the books, however he has been updated for this generation. Bond always had his demons and I don't think we saw any of those until now. (Casino Royale and Skyfall)

yeah a bit, as did you only live twice, but in the rest of them it was pretty much indiscriminate shagging and murder

Surely you jest about Dalton, mate. :)

Nah I'd have to say he edges it for me. It's not that I dislike other bonds (bar Lazenby), I think it may of been that I saw Living Daylights when I was at a very impressionable age, and to me it is everything you want from a Bond film, so when people say Bond, he's the one that springs to mind for me. I realise that makes me a freak!
