Wrong. All were world class, all left coz Fergie wanted rid as they believed themselves to be bigger than the club. Including Beckham.
 
Someone said how wonderful it is the dignity beckhams shown from not getting picked? Surely if the man had dignity he'd shut his mouth and let Pearce announce the squad in due course? Only reason beckham or should I say his team of advisors have already announced he's been left out is due to the hysteria like this that it has whipped up in the hope that the publics support for him will end in some 11th hour u turn and a call up

Why does it matter from where the money is coming from ? All the footballers in the highest paid lists make alot more money from sponsorhips and deals than from their clubs due to their image.Besides,when Beckham signed he had a 6,5 mill $ salary,I dont think you can consider that low ;)

At the time I thought that aswell,almost 100 million € ... Real is nuts... Now when I think about it,thats nothing.Almost a bargain,considering how influental Ronaldo was to them

All except ronaldo were past their best. Ronaldo wouldn't sign a new deal and went for a world record fee. Your point is?

Again, how has Beckham attained such a hero status in England? Before anyone says, I know he scored a great goal against Greece, were reminded of it all the time! But what has he done for England that's any better than the likes of Terry, Shearer, Owen, Gerrard, Ferdinand etc who are all part of England teams that were deemed either not good enough or flops if you want to go to extremes? He's got to a quarter final, no further. Wasn't he meant to be one of our best players? Why does Rooney get caned for not performing in tournaments and yet Beckham skates?

Got sent off in one knockout game, gave the ball away which lead to a goal in a quarter final, and missed a penalty in a shooutout in another.

Someone please explain to me what separates from the England players who have all flopped at tournaments?

And all this "England's most capped outfielder" gonads, who cares about most capped outfielder? No other country celebrates this. They just celebrate their best and most capped players, no matter what their position is.

Nobody could have predicted that he would score more than a goal a game for Real Madrid in consecutive seasons, even taking into account how great he was for United. £80m smashed the world transfer record into smithereens. Fergie did his best to try and persuade Ronaldo to stay, he managed to get him to stay for one more season, but in the end, Ronaldo wanted to play for Madrid, I bet most Portugese and Spanish players do!
