He won 4 out of 6 prem games for us last time. That win rate would get us top 4 most likely. 69 points.

And? What about getting Sherwood? If you think Ryan Mason is good enough then that's fine. I don't, as I have higher expectations than that.

Fair enough but break it down for us.

Naglesmann, galtier, amorim, slot, poch...?
There’s nothing to suggest Levy and co have got that far down the line yet beyond considering initial targets.

We do still have a manager currently:D….

Who is your higher expectation to come in till the summer? That is realistic.

In your mind that's where you limit us ... why not appoint a manager that can give us an end of season boost and also continue thereafter? Bayern Munich won't have been the only club to sack a manager and get their choice in immediately.

Who?

Mason until the summer and then Nagelsmann on a 3, 4 or 5 year deal is the best we can hope for.

We have blown top 4 anyway, we are two points ahead of Saudi Sportswashing Machine who have two games in hand. They are a very good settled team with an amazing team spirit. We have to play them away and pool away and frankly we aren’t that good.

As long as Mason is capable of getting enough home wins so we don’t end below 6th (and therefore get EL rather than ECL) then that will do us.

Much like we did with Conte.

This team is capable of going away to Saudi Sportswashing Machine and getting a result.

There's going to be a lot of management moves over the summer so i expect we will persevere with conte until then and then make a move for whoever is available, or affordable.
We won't be top of anyone's list, even poch, so not could be a long frustrating summer.

So you are predicting another managerial gaff like last year getting NES in lol

If a manager is available now that we want why wait?

If there are more managers available this summer, then more teams will also be looking for a new manager.

Potter will be available in the summer, which means Chelsea will be on the market for a new manager. Ancelotti is supposed to be going to the Brazil national team so Madrid will also be on the hunt and PSG will get rid of their manager aswell. Lots of competition for managers if we wait and we will be last in the pecking order.

Let's put it that way: you're a chairman and you happen to have the best striker in the world at the club. The guy tells you: 'I want to win trophies and work with the best managers in the world'. What do you do? You sign managers with huge reputations. It's a win-win situation: you keep the best striker in the world and, obviously, those top managers are going to win something with the great squad you have. It's a shame things are slightly more complicated in real life but it's a fairly straightforward situation.

And I don't want to spoil your evening but so far, nobody's managed to put an end to player power for the past 30 years or so.
Let's put it another way, you can win things without too much emphasis on a single player. Just go through all the league and trophy winners and you'll see what I mean.

It’s not that we would want to wait, but other managers especially top ones will want to.

Anyone hoping for Nagelsman to rock up straight away, or any other top manager will be disappointed. He will be well aware of the usual merry go round due to happen at the top clubs in the summer, hard to believe but we aren’t the most attractive club in Europe to manage….

Who tops anyone’s list?
PSG with a squad that can never get it over the line
Chelsea who have signed a team of wingers but no strikers and are set to fall foul of the new FFP rules
Madrid…. Pressure galore and a team that’s focus is always on the CL
There are pros and cons for every team and every coach will judge that too
Fans are probably the least sensible on that front
