Yep, Good all round game, just missing that killer instinct in front of goal. Although he wasn't given too much. I'm hoping Odobert can be that creative outlet on the left that provides some better service than we have seen from Son for a good while.Makes runs, got in right places, just didn't convert.
More to come.
I don't often say this but I think he would sometimes benefit from remaining still a bit more. He is constantly moving which is great, but sometimes he is already in a good position and can just wait there.

We have to remember he's 19...and tbh not that many minutes of first team football behind him.(He barely played at Rennes) Add that to the prem being so physical and fast...it's gonna be a while to cozy in.
To @Finney Is Back point, I hope that comes, knowing when to stand still, but he's a frothing teenager at the moment. He does have good movement though and technically looks sound, and two footed.
I'll admit I thought he'd be quicker, he's average in the speed stakes (think Mcginn outpaced him last week)...so those other qualities will have to shine through. We got hopefully 20ish games to have a good look at him. But I wouldn't be as definitive as Ange was about him joining permanently at the moment.
Apparently brought a brand new car rather than having his brought over, £180k
and is also looking to buy a place rather than rent
Obviously helps him being good buddies with Odobert too
People don't often realise how much living in London plays a part in players wanting to come to us. And I am fine with that. It's a good life for young blokes with a lot of money.
I think he shows great promise. Very good movement (we missed several great runs he made), plays with his head up and chest out (naturally confident) and gets into good positions. I think once he and Maddison (plus the whole team in fairness) get to know each other better, we will see a really good player. It was his home debut today BTW, and yes, 19 and not familiar with this league yet.
