Well he played there for France U21s in the tournament in the summer with Odobert out wide. He looked good there to me, of course it's a different level especially physically and especially playing up front against big grown men CBs in the PL.

But against his peers he looked good, and why I would recommend both patience and perseverance with him. He is 19, and I think he will breakout within the next couple of years.....
Conversely Odobert looked poor played on the right.

Could not agree more, sadly in todays game a lot of fans have neither the patience or sense to see that.

If his volley had have gone in and we nicked a point on Saturday a lot of people would be saying different things about him
I think he is super talented and will do well at us under Frank

100% agree. I find it really strange that people are so quick to judge this guy. I don't think he was hopeless at the tail end of last season. Sure, he had some not so great games, but so had the entire team ffs. It really gets me down when our "fans" behave this way towards our players, it really does, you can see it affects them (of course it does) - and people will just say "yeah, well, he's a professional footballer, he should handle it". It makes me feel bad on behalf of the supporters and on behalf of the club really wanting to say to him "we're not all like these idiots!". I feel ashamed. He's come to our great club with ambitions and hopes, and is sold this dream of playing in England for a great team at a great stadium, and is met with abuse. fudging hell, so depressing. They tarnish the rep and legacy of our club. We should be better. Every time someone does that it makes me love the club a little bit less - which pains me to say, but it's the truth. I don't want to be associated with those fudging idiots. The idea of this great player thinking "why did I join Spurs if they don't support me? what is it with this club?". Imagine actually supporting the guy and showing him some encouragement, he would be a fudging star in a matter of months. But I've gone over this so many times I'll shut about it for a while.

I've felt the same about Gil, by the way. The amount of ridicule he has gotten is just beyond belief. People should fudging behave. He is not a terrible footballer, and he's a human being - stop fudging making fun of him. Ok, so now I'm ranting again. Stop.

I really think Frank can help him develop his game, and when he does, he can become lethal. He just needs confidence, in my opinion.
