Pep has come in and done what most managers would have bottled, called it and called it right. Many a manager would have come in and set their regime back a month or so being nice and giving Hart a chance. I think Peps done the right thing, Hart is an ok keeper, Willy is just as good a keeper but we have the English bias.

Hart was garbage at the Euros, and in his late 20s there are no excuses anymore.

Do not like Hart. Suffers with nerves in a position where basic competence gets the job done most of the time.

Been saying for years, hart is rubbish.
But this could go against pep, one slip by the replacement or if England suffer the press will go for him.

I think Hart was good and deserved the reputation he was building, but he has gone backwards and has been poor over the last year or so. His arrogance, which can help a goalkeeper, seems to have become a hindrance. Perhaps a shock to his perception of himself is what can put him back on the right track. He was, though, dropped before, iirc, and that didn't help. Allardyce's plan to include him anyway isn't going to help him.

In some ways a similar thing happened to Paul Robinson. He was deservedly our #1 and England's #1 but then lost form. I'm not sure exactly why, it wasn't arrogance like with Hart, but he never recovered the form.

I'm about 70lbs over weight have 2 hip replacements and chronic arthritius in my knee, I'll look for my boots.

But apart from that, are you ready to play 45 minutes?

Im 63 on 5 sept.........I know how you feel - my list is far longer but no less amusing ;).
