Ingerlund

Rashford doing his work experience. You'd think if Welbeck was fit he'd be there instead, but logic doesn't apply to the FA. Only bringing 3 CBs in order to shoehorn in more of the regulars that aren't good enough.

Delph? Wheelchair? Sterling? Wheelchair hasnt played and Sterling couldn't even get in a brick City team this season. So much for picking players on form.

I like the Rashford pick.

Why is he there ahead of Defoe, Deeney or Carroll?

If Michail Antonio had played for ManU this season he'd be picked.

What happened to that Arsenal kid they kept bringing along for experience?

Young and unsullied by previous campaigns, he's exciting, he plays without fear, he's an unknown quantity for the opposition.

I'm sure I'll get sucked into it when it starts, but right now I don't give a phuck about England. Hope we go out in the group stage and our players get more rest and a proper pre-season with Poch.

Dunno how I feel about sterling tbh but, who else is there? Apart from Milner (who lacks pace) there's noone who plays on the wing who would put the work in.

The formation graphic is flawed aswell, Vardy and kane would switch roles often and that role would be much closer to the striker.

Perhaps it will be more 4-3-3. Alli and Henderson or Drinkwater ahead of Dier. Two from Vardy, Sterling and Rooney as wing forwards.

Yeah, you're probably right. Henderson would probably provide a better variation in terms of different types of midfielders, although we'd need to lose one of Drinkwater or Dier.

My problem with putting Vardy out wide is that it's putting a square peg in a round hole (despite me doing so) and sterling hasn't exactly had an err sterling season but, it'd be a pacy side with a good focal point for attack.

Would be tempted to go with Dier & Barkley in the middle against Wales. Then maybe Dier & Drinkwater against teams better than us.

I'd have milner on the wing of whereever bale is, to basically mark him out of the game as much as he can, with the help of walker/rose

Barkley in centre midfield seems risky to me.

I'm going to guess Roy starts with:

Hart
Back four (we haven't used a back three have we?)
Dier Wheelchair
Milner Rooney Sterling
Kane
I think Dier will get the nod because he can drop into defence when a full back gets forward. Then shoehorn his favourites in.
